About Tillie Harris

Tillie Harris

BSc, MSc, MA

Human behavior
and communications

For the last 25 years, I’ve been studying and working in interpersonal dynamics and communications, and exploring how to unlock change and growth.

Today, I work closely with C-suite and Senior Leadership Teams, coaching individuals and groups to support high-performance behaviors, enhance leadership skills, and improve team dynamics.

I work with FTSE 500 companies, public corporations, government, national non-profits, the NHS, and early-stage businesses.

My work includes:

  • One-to-one coaching
  • Workshops, trainings and facilitated sessions
  • Group coaching in leadership, interpersonal communication and high performance behaviors

I graduated from Goldsmiths University, London, with a First-Class degree in Social Anthropology. I have a Master’s in Journalism (with Merit) and a second Master’s in the Psychodynamics of Human Behavior (with Distinction). I also have a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling, and have taken many other, shorter trainings.

I’m an associate at The Trivista Group (US), Kaleidoscope Health, Verinder + Harris, and several global consultancies, including Open Water People and Change.

I love my work, and alongside supporting Executives and their teams, I research and write. I’m endlessly fascinated by what makes us who we are, and the degree to which change is possible. My literary agent is Cathryn Summer-Haze at Curtis Brown.

Thank you Tillie Harris for brilliantly designing and facilitating our leadership workshop. Your combined skills in behavioural psychology and high performance coaching, alongside a deep understanding of our business and people (through joining our weekly team meetings and 1:1 leadership coaching over the last 3months) has resulted in a highly impactful and valuable Leadership session.
CEO of a Global major venues and events organization, including Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup and World Expos.
A great session that will create a positive leadership culture within ourorganization. My takeaways are – don’t be afraid to talk about failure, have honest conversations. Build trust within your teams and be a role model leader.”
Vice Principal of London College Group
From here I will be confidently having those difficult conversations, addressing poor behavior or attitudes. Also several takeaway sayings and phrases that I can embed with the team to promote a safe working environment and raising the standards. This session made me realize the importance of characteristics over skills as a leader.”

Working with Tillie is fabulous. We’ve learned more about each other and developed ourgroup norms to help make us more successful and create better team dynamics as well as more clearly understand “empowerment”. Tillie is a wonderful facilitator, she makes big conversations feel safe, and she has a warm, personal touch.”
